Once again, Spain hosts the opening race of the European season for Alé BTC Ljubljana. The Vuelta a la Comunitat Valenciana is a mostly flat one-day-race on 97.7 kms which starts from Paterna to end in the heart of Valencia.

This race is the official comeback in #YellowFluoOrange by Marta Bastianelli: The Italian Champion will be at the start with the Slovenians Eugenia Bujak (also national champion), Urska Bravec and Urska Zigart, the Japanese Eri Yonamine (National Champion of Road Race and Time Trial) and the Spanish rider from the Balearic Islands Mavi Garcia. The line-up will be followed by the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti in the Team Car.

The route of the race is hilly in the first half, with the highest point at about 300 meters, before descending in direction of the sea: there is an intermediate sprint after 76 km before preparing the final sprint on the streets of Valencia.
