The Commonwealth Champion was close to the podium of the day in the Stage 4 of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour of Britain (Evesham - Worcester, 130 kms), won by the former World Champion Amalie Dideriksen who beated Lotta Lepistö and Marianne Vos. It is the second top 5 placement for the team in this edition of the British race, after the 2nd place for Marta Bastianelli in the opening stage.

The sprinters have been the main protagonists in this stage, even with 2 cathegorized climbs, where the team worked to take the breakaway first, then to launch the sprint for the Australian athlete Chloe Hosking. Soraya Paladin, 15th with 31’‘, is the best #YellowFluoOrange rider in the General Classification, leaded by Coryn Rivera. The overall win will be assigned tomorrow in Colwyn Bay.

“There is one stage to go, and we must fight to take a win that is very important for us” - declared the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti.
