READY TO BE AT THE OVO ENERGY WOMEN'S TOUR
The team Alè - Cipollini is going to UK to take part from 13th to 17th June at the Women’s Tour of Great Britain, one of the most prestigious stage races in the UCI Women’s World Tour, after participating at the Granfondo Alè La Merckx last Sunday in Verona.
Five are the road stages (no time trials are programmed) on the English - Welsh roads: the first one is on Wednesday from Framlingham to Southwold (130 kms), to continue on the following day with the Rushden - Daventry of 145 kms. The longest stage is the third, 151 kms from Atherstone to Royal Leamington Spa. On Saturday 16th the stage 4 is from Evesham to Worcester (130 kms) and the race ends on Sunday in Wales, from Dolgellau to Colwyn Bay of 122 kms.
This is an OVO Energy Tour most for the sprinters, in fact the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti has selected for this race the Commonwealth Champion from Australia Chloe Hosking, the three Italians Marta Bastianelli, Soraya Paladin and Anna Trevisi, the German Romy Kasper and the Dutch Janneke Ensing.
