Here the climb of Gnadenwald, 5 km at 14% as top slope, starts, followed by a false-flat sector before descending to Innsbruck, which ends near the final km. The final circuit is more than 20 kms long and the main part is the climb to Igls: 8 km with 5.6% average slope and 10% of maximal, to be repeated three times. Just before the finish there is a short but steep climb in the city centre of Innsbruck, which can become the decisive moment that will assign the medals odf these World Championships.
