|A few days since the officialization of the Columbian Diana Peñuela as new team rider, Alè - Cipollini communicates the arrival of the talented Italian Nadia Quagliotto from the Team G.S. Top Girls - Fassa Bortolo.
Born in Montebelluna (Treviso) in 1997, Nadia Quagliotto has been one of the most interesting Italian athletes in the national and international races in the current season, her third one as Elite: she fighted until the end with her Regional compatriot Sofia Bertizzolo during the Giro Rosa in the Special Classification of the best young riders, ending in second place. Her two seasonal wins were taken in the Trofeo Città di Seren del Grappa and in the 4th Trofeo Prealpi in Rosa. She ended in 6th place the Italian Championships (Road Race) and 5th the Classification of the Best Young Riders in the Emakumeen Bira. Thanks to these results, Nadia has been one of the greatest protagonists with the Italian National Team in the triumphal Road Race of the European Championship in Glasgow, won by Marta Bastianelli.
Nadia Quagliotto’s first quote: “I’m very proud to become part of the Alè - Cipollini project, it’s a guiding light of the Italian Cycling Teams in the world. I will give my best to reward the confidence that the team gave to me, they wanted me very much.”
