The Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, first European race for the #YellowFluoOrange Team begins next thursday. Five athletes have been selected for the Spanish stage race: Marta Bastianelli as Captain, her compatriots Anna Trevisi and Martina Stefani from Italy, the Spanish Ane Santesteban Gonzalez and the Japanese Mayuko Hagiwara. The new Sports Director Gulnara Fatkullina will debut in the Team Car and she declared:

“We did a very intense work in these days, there will be two athletes who have been protagonists of the great season start in Australia, where we already took two victories. We will give our best in all the four stages, staying always in the front.”.

The race begins with a road stage of 118 kms from Rotova to Gandia. There are two cathegorized climbs: the last (Alto de Barx, Cat. 2) is only 13 kms from the finish. The stage 2 goes from Castellò to Vila-real for 115 km: the first 70 kms are flat and they are followed by the climb of the Desierto de las Palmas (Cat. 1). The last part of 40 kms is descending and returns flat until the finish. The longest stage is the third, 137 kms from Sagunto to Valencia. There is an initial circuit around the start to be repeated twice before climbing L’Oronet (Cat. 2). The last kilometer has many curves in the old town of Valencia. The final is day in Benidorm (118 km) on Sunday, 25th February: the stage route is on a circuit to be repeated three times, with the climb of the Finestrat (Cat. 2)
