After a triumphal Ghent - Wevelgem won by Marta Bastianelli, the #YellowFluoOrange Team will take part on wednesday, 28th March in the race that anticipates by 4 days the Ronde van Vlaanderen, one of the most prestigious races of the whole UCI calendar, on Easter Sunday.

The Dwars door Vlaanderen (in English “Through the Flanders”), 1.1 Category, has a flat prst part of route, followed by a serie of steep cobblestoned climbs and flat sectors which will make the race tougher. The start is in Tielt and the finish in Waregem after 117.9 kms, the athletes will have in their legs the Kluisberg, Knokteberg, Vossenhol and Nokerebergclimbs, and the cobblestoned roads Holstraat and Herlegemstraat.

A different line-up than the Driedaagse and the Ghent - Wevelgem has been selected, the following six athletes directed by the Sports Director Gulnara Fatkullina: Chloe Hosking, Anna Trevisi, Karlijn Swinkels, Anisha Vekemans, Romy Kasper and Roxane Knetemann.

“We live a great moment” - said the Team President Alessia Piccolo - “We are very proud of our work and the results honour it”.

The athlete Anna Trevisi participated yesterday with the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti at the Official 2018 Giro Rosa Presentation at the Royal Palace (Villa Reale) in Monza: “I’m from Emilia and I am very happy to see a Giro stage in my region, in Piacenza” - declared Anna Trevisi - “There are many interesting stages, the team will arrive at the Giro very prepared, it’s the greatest race in the world.”
