CLASSIQUE DE MORBIHAN, SIXTH PLACE FOR JANNEKE ENSING
The Dutch rouleur-climber ended the French one-day race with an important Top 10, with a delay of about one minute from the winner Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio.
The race has been characterized by bad weather and muddy, graveled roads that made the route tougher in a race of 116 kms.
The Classique de Morbihan is one of the most important Women Race in the North-western French region of Brittany. Even with a very recent history (the 4th edition has taken place this year) has an important start list with top level teams and riders. Its final is on the Cote de Cadoudal, 1.4 kms with a 6.5% average and 10% maximal slope, and the climb has been decisive.
“Even with extreme weather and road conditions we did a very good race again. Congrats for Janneke and the team for this result. Tomorrow there will be another hard race to do.” - declared the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti.
The Grand Prix de Plumelec - Morbihan will take place on Saturday, with ten passages and the finish again on the Cote de Cadoudal, in the town of Plumelec.
