CHLOE HOSKING ON THE PODIUM OF THE HERALD SUN TOUR

The Australian Champion of the Alé - Cipollini Team completed her mission keeping the third place overall in the 2018 Women’s Herald Sun Tour after the Individual Time Trial in Melbourne. In the very short Stage 2 (only 1600 meters long) Chloe Hosking ended with 6’‘39 from the stage winner Annemiek Van Vleuten. There were also positive performances by the other #YellowFluoOrange, especially Karlijn Swinkels, 13th with 6’‘05 and Soraya Paladin, 20th with 7’‘90. The Italian rider enters in the top 15 of the General Classification, ending the Australian race with 1’13’’ from the overall leader and race winner Brodie Chapman

Chloe Hosking won also the Sprint Classification taking the Green Jersey.

The final declarations by the Team Manager Fortunato Lacquaniti: “I think we couldn’t ask more, the ladies did a very good performance in the Team Time Trial. We can finally look at the preparation of the very important European races with the best mood”.
